Luna: Wake up, Serena. You're going to be late.
(Serena rolls over and knocks the black cat off the bed)
Serena: (groggily) Sorry Luna
(She sat up and looked up at the clock beside her bed)
Serena: I'm late!
Luna: Told you.
(Serena quickly throws off the covers. They fall on top of Luna)
Luna: Nnph.
Serena: What did you say?
Luna: Nnph.
(Serena strolls over to where a little bump is under the covers. She raises it to reveal Luna)
Luna: I said you need to pick up your blanket.
Serena: I'm sorry, but I don't have enough time to talk right now.
(She grabs her uniform and runs down the steps. As she running she puts her clothes on. When getting down to the bottom she notices Rini wearing her pajamas)
Serena: Why aren't in your school clothes?
Rini: (now finishing up a piece of toast) Because it is Saturday.
Serena: WHAT?!
(A now mad Serena turns to find Luna walking into the kitchen)
Serena: Luna did you know it was a Saturday?
Luna: now that you mentioned it I think it is.
Serena: I could be sleeping right now.
(Rini was now fidgeting in her chair. She kept looking at the newspaper near her)
Rini: (Mumbling) Serena..
Serena: (turning to see why Rini called her name) Yes?
Rini: I was wondering if you would go to the park with me?
Serena: I can, why?
Rini: Well here is this contest I want to go see.
Serena: What kind of contest is it?
Rini: Archery.
Serena: I don't see why not.
Rini: Really.
Serena: Sure let me call the others and see if they want to go also.
(Rini jumps down from the chair and runs up the steps to her room. Serena walks over to the nearest telephone and starts dialing the numbers to the other scouts.
After finishing calling the numbers she went up to her room and changed into a pair of shorts and a loose t-shirt. She returns down the steps to see an anxious Rini standing at the bottom of the steps)
Rini: What to you so long?
Serena: (ignoring Rini) Luna would you like to go?
Luna: Yes I would maybe we might see that strange girl from last night.
Serena: We might.

(After catching the bus they headed towards the park. They made it to find Mina, Raye, and Amy at the bus stop. . Serena and Rina started waving towards them. After the bus stopped they headed towards the door. Rini made it off turning around to see Serena nearly falling on her face. Serena almost fell when a pair of hands caught. Looking up Serena found herself looking up in a pair of light green eyes surrounded by white hair)
Serena: Thank you.
Stranger: Welcome.
(The woman was about to leave when Rini caught her hand. Turning the woman leaned down and smiled as she looked eye to eye with her)
Rini: Can I ask you for your name?
Mariko: Sure it is Mariko Kanzaki.
Serena: Thank you, Mariko.
Mariko: No problem.
(Mariko stood up and headed towards her motorcycle. There she took her bow from the seat. Heading back to the group she looked to Raye)
Mariko: Excuse me. Do you know where they are having the Archery Tournament at?
Raye: (pointing towards the north part of the park) Yeah if you go that way you'll find signs that will direct you towards it.
Mariko: (putting her bow over her shoulder she headed towards the direction) Thank you.
Serena: (now facing Amy) Where is everybody else at?
Amy: Lita is already at the Tournament and Darian is getting something to drink.
Raye:(checking her watch) Hey we need to get there before it starts.
(They head towards the Tournament. Halfway there they meet Darian, quickly telling him about Mariko. They make it towards the last curve in the path to hear a woman screaming. They run there to see Tigers Eye looking into a womans mirror. Taking his head out he is about to destroy it when a Arrow hits beside him near cutting his ear)
Darian: What was that?!
Serena: (pointing to Mariko) That was Mariko. She is trying to save that girl.
(Mariko was putting another arrow on her string when a knife landed in her left shoulder. Letting out a scream she pulled out the knife to let it drop at her feet. Pulling the string on the bow she released it. This time the arrow never got there as she fell to the ground. Serena made it to her now as Sailor Moon. Placing Marikos head in her lap she watched as the other scout took on the newest monster)
Mariko: Let me up I can still fight.
Serena: No you can't you've already lost a lot of blood.
Mariko: (slowly closed her eyes whispering) Im sorry I failed you, (murmur) princess.
(All went black)
